Summary : On January 21, 2020, the Board approved an Initial Guaranteed Maximum Price (iGMP) for the Castle View High School F-Pod Addition with Adolfson & Peterson (A&P) in the amount of $11,978,118.

Change Order 4 has been submitted to subdivide one (1) existing large classroom in Castle View High School into two (2) rooms in order to provide more classroom capacity by adding a wall and modifying the associated life safety and HVAC infrastructure, and to include the Information Technology and Security systems scope as part of A&P’s contract work.

The total amount for Change Order 4 is $218,022. With approval of Change Order 4 the total contract cost to A&P will increase to $12,201,231. The cost of Change Order 4 and revised total contract cost is within the approved total project budget.

2018 Bond funds will pay for these costs and were already included in the bond planning budgets. The proposed costs are within industry standards for this work.
