Summary : Included in the 2018 Bond budget were funds for purchasing new school buses. The District seeks to purchase 52 buses over SY 2018-2019 and SY 2019-2020. After researching bid options, the District has chosen to utilize the recent published and awarded RFP’s for school buses by 5 other Colorado school districts with McCandless Truck Center. This type of purchase meets all formal competitive process requirement pursuant to Board Policy DJ. The RFP’s are listed below:

- Cherry Creek Schools Bid #Buses 10-14 (01/15/2015)
- Poudre Valley School District IFB 19-720-001 (10/09/2018)
- Meeker School District RE-1 Bus Bid (11/13/2017)
- St Vrain Valley School District ITB-BO-2018-15 (10/17/2017)
